Mr. Thomas Charles "Tommy" Honeycutt, of Hamptonville, NC, passed away at his home on Tuesday afternoon, March 20, 2012. He was a beloved father of four, grandfather of twelve and great-grandfather of four. He spent the winter months in South Carolina during the last thirty-plus years handling dogs at the 50,000 acre Oketee Plantation in Ridgeland. During the spring and summer, when he wasn't tending his bountiful two acre vegetable garden, he was on the banks of Willowbrook Lake, using his super-secret bait recipe to catch monster carp. Tommy was preceded in death by his son, Mark Henderson, but is survived by his son Dale Henderson and daughters Sherri (John) Baucom and Jerri McGee. Grandchildren are Celia (Clint) McGlamery, Cassie (Jared) Burchette, Thomas Henderson, Tyler (Hayle) Baucom, Crystal McGee, Heather Henderson, Carley Henderson, Ethan Henderson, Jacob Henderson, Brooke Baucom, Mae McGee and Austin Baucom. Great-grandchildren are Dylan Burchette, Bently Burchette, Brody Burchette and Kaedon Rhys.
