Clara Ann Annette Ball

August 5, 1945 — March 4, 2012

Clara Ann Annette Ball went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2012 at her residence. Ann was born on August 5, 1943 to Joseph Alexander and Clara Faircloth Ball, who predeceased her. She is survived by Betty Kimball Zimmerman and several Faircloth cousins of Forsyth County, bob & Jean Dinkins of Clemmons, Kay Dinkins (Wife of the late Delano Dinkins) of Yadkinville, Morris and Jackie Disher of Elkin, Betty Gail Poindexter of Dobson, Wes and Lynette Smitherman of Jamestown, long-time family friends of Dr. C. Marvin Brads Family (Della, Judy, Charlie and Diane, Paul and Diane, Zola and Alvah) and her church family at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is also survived by her faithful canine companion, Macy. Ann graduated from Piedmont Bible college with a degree in Christian Education and taught in several Christian Schools in the area. She was also a summer missionary to Jamaica for vacation bible school. She faithfully served her church as a Sunday School teacher for various classes and served in the capacities of organist, pianist, and choir director for many years. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM Thursday with Rev. Bill Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. McGrath, all of Anns Doctors at Wake Forest Baptist Health and to her many friends who supported her during her extended illness. Flowers will be welcomed, by the family would like those wishing to honor Anns memory to consider a donation to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Building Fund, 2725 Old US 421 Highway East, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
