Foie Wilma Owens

Yadkinville Foie Wilma Owens, 77, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Ms. Owens was born March 21, 1934 in Surry County to James A. and Mallie Robbins Owens. In addition to her parents, Ms. Owens was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. She is survived by three brothers, Roger (Millie) Owens, Luther (Ruth) Owens, all of Yadkinville, and Harold (Ann) Owens of Tobaccoville; one sister, Mabel Peggy Bruce of East Bend; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery with Rev. Mac Cassell officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery Fund, 726 Lee Street, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the wonderful care given to Foie.
