Rev. William Franklin Nolan

Rev. William Franklin "Frank" Nolan, 69, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness. Frank loved the lord and loved to preach the "Word". Rev Nolan was of the Full Gospel faith. Frank was predeceased by his father Art and mother Gertie Brock Nolan; 4 sisters, 3 brothers, grandson William Barry Nolan, son Kenneth Newell, granddaughter Jami O'Brian. Frank was born in Tiptonville, Tennessee on April 13, 1943. Later moving to Rockford Illinois where he met and married the love of his life Judy Myers Nolan, July 26, 1974. In 1975 Frank and His bride moved to North Carolina. He worked for Starmount High School and retired in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, golf and his puppies. Rev. Nolan pastured his own church Holy Acres for many years. Rev. Nolan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy Myers Nolan; Sons William Travis (Bobbie) Nolan, Kevin (Vicki) Nolan, Ray (Linda) Newell, Michael (Gina) Newell, daughters Michele K. Mahnke, Lesa Myers, Debbie Marion; 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild; sisters Linda (Augie) Orlandi, Novella (Steve) Naruz, and Wilma (Albert) Parsons. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 1:00 Monday may 14, 2012 at Gentry family funeral Service in Jonesville. His funeral will be conducted at 1:00 PM following the visitation on Monday in the Gentry family Chapel in Jonesville by Rev. John Abernathy, Rev. Jerry Ireland, and Rev. Walter Phillips.
