Hazel Harris Walker

Walker Yadkinville - Hazel Lucille Harris Walker, 86, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Willowbrook Nursing Care Center. She was born October 18, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Nathan Shober and Nora Ann Osborne Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; they were married in May of 1945, Lonnie Hugh Walker; sisters, Dot Steelman, Sis Snyder; brothers, Buster Harris, Bud Harris, and Jack Harris; several half brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Lonnie (Debbie) Walker, Ken Walker, Richard Walker; grandson, Jody Walker; step granddaughter, Susan Rector; brothers, Sandy (Pearl) Harris, Bobby (Betty) Harris; several nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at Sandy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. David Kiser. The family would like to thank Willowbrook Nursing Care Center and Mountain Valley Hospice for all the love and care shown to Hazel.
