Dorothy Mae Groce Cornelius,72, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends Friday May 25, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Cornelius was born October 23, 1939 to the late Willie H. Groce, Sr. & Etta Mae Keaton Groce. She was a member of Baltimore United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Billy Ray Cornelius her two sons Billy Dean (Kelly Johnson) Cornelius, David Lee (Terri Margaret) Cornelius; five grandchildren Dana, Ashton, Derek, Patrick, and Robert; one step grandson Charlie Ross one great grandchild Traeten Moxley. A private graveside service will be held at Baltimore United Methodist Church by Rev. Cathy Vlastakis. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
