Angeline "Angie" King Mook

Mrs. Angeline “Angie” King Mook, 84, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was born in Yadkin County on May 18, 1938 to Miles and Nellie King. Angie was a member of Victory Chapel Baptist Church. She retired from Chatham Manufacturing Company. Angie loved to read her Bible, crochet, and listen to music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Clarence Mook; grandson, Bryan Lineberry; eight sisters; and eight brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Reggie) Carter and Diane (Davis) Mathis; grandchildren, Christopher Carter and Christina Lineberry; and great-grandchildren, Braden Lineberry, Sophia Lineberry, and Olivia Zaman. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Don Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Victory Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Mook will lie-in-state from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the funeral home. The family kindly requests that everyone please wear a mask. Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 968 North Bridge Street, Elkin, NC 28621. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation and Angie’s nieces, Lisa Corder and Jennifer Chatham, for the compassionate care given to Angie and her family. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Mook family.
