Ann Poindexter Dull

Mrs. Ann Poindexter Dull, 79, passed away January 8, 2026. She was born April 7, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charlie Frank Poindexter and Bertha Mae Thomlinson Poindexter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gene Dull; and her sister Wanda Hall. Mrs. Dull enjoyed playing bingo, watching Nascar racing, and she loved going out to eat. She loved traveling with her husband Gene in their motorhome and traveled as much as possible. They were also members of the Yadkin Valley Cruisers, with Ann and Gene both having an antique car. She is survived by nieces, Jennie Hall, Karen Hall; her special friends Mary Joyce-Hale, and Mike & Janice Hawks; her best-friend Bonnie Hutchens; and her Mt. Zion Baptist Church family. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service. Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Dr. Robin Dixon and Rev. Brian Bradsher officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cross Friends Cemetery.
