Anna Haynes Adams

Anna Lee Haynes Adams, age 93, went home to join loved ones on October 26, 2026. Anna was born on October 28, 1932 to Wiley Glenn Haynes and Mary Wagoner Haynes. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School, class of 1951, and attended Elkin Business College. Proceeding her was her beloved son, Steve on September 13, 2022. Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Joseph H. Adams. Her family, who was the joy of her life, include granddaughter and her husband, Stephanie and Kirt Samson, great-grandsons, Ryker and Luke Samson, and great-granddaughter, Leianna Claire Samson, and her nephews Doug and Greg Adams of Hickory. Anna spent all her working days in the banking industry, first with Bank of Elkin, Northwestern Bank, and retiring from First Union. The family extends special thanks to JoAnn McBride for sharing memories, but most of all her prayers. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, November 7, 2026, 10:30 a.m., at Crestwood Memorial Gardens in Yadkinville. Pastor Randy Johnson will conduct the service.
