Anthony Edward Greer

Mr. Anthony Edward Greer, 67, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025. He was born July 10, 1958 in Pennsylvania to the late James Garfield Greer and Joyce Ethel Price Greer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Byrd. Mr. Greer loved going to the beach, old cars and watching any type of car racing. He is survived by his wife, Amy Casstevens Greer; his son, Shannon Greer; his daughter, Kendel Heraldo; step sons, Wes Mahan, Jarred Mahan; special grandchild, Mackenzie Alderson; his brothers, Phillip Greer, Kenny Greer; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved K9 companions, Ozie and Bonnie. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their gratitude to the hospice staff at Forsyth Hospital that helped care for Mr. Greer.
