Benjamin "Ben" Evan Edwards

Mr. Benjamin “Ben” Evan Edwards, 44, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026. He was born September 23, 1981 in Grayson County, Virginia to Carolyn Dalton Edwards and Eddie Edwards. Ben enjoyed watching and participating in all types of sporting events. He loved fishing, traveling, and cruising on cruise ships. He is survived by his mother Carolyn (Michael) Shockley; sisters Jennifer (William) Bowman, Kim (Bill) Crews; brother Tim Brown III; step-sister Jacqueline Brown; step-brother John Travis Brown; nieces Caroline (Cortlan) Marion, Amanda (Alexander) Thompson, Virginia Crews, Dixie Crews; nephew Jackson (Madisynn) Crews; great-nephews Calvin Marion, Colton Marion, Maverick Thompson. He was preceded in death by his father. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM, in the Gentry Family Chapel with Dr. Jack Darida officiating.
