Betty Trivette Reavis

Mrs. Betty Sue Trivette Reavis, age 83, passed away September 18, 2022. She was born December 25, 1938 in Davie County to the late Edna Cleo Trivette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Reavis; sisters, Martha Godbey, Shirley Moore; brother, Herbert Dale Trivette. Betty was affectionally known by her siblings as “Mom”, as she raised all of them. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Brent) Speer; granddaughters, Brittany (Adam) Lyons, Miranda (Matt) Dale; great-grandson Karson Dale; sisters, Debbie Charles, Faye (Webb) Duckworth, Mary (Ricky) Burcham; brother, Bill (Paulette) Trivette and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Solid Rock Baptist Church. Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM with Brother Ricky Burcham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Yadkin Nursing Care Center and Liberty Hospice for the loving care shown to Betty. Memorials may be made to Gentry Family Funeral Service.
