Billy Dale Harris

Mr. Billy Dale Harris, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born January 26, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late James Calvin Harris and Pansy Sizemore Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Fletcher Harris; and his sisters, Avonell Livengood, Maverine Hobson. He is survived by his sons, Brent Harris (Dawn Weaver), Barry Harris (Odeana Vanhoy); grandchildren, McKinnsey Patterson, Hillary (BK) Aton, Rachel (John) Folley, Rebekah (Marcus) Williams; great-grandchildren, Boxer Williams, Brighton Williams, Bentz Williams; brother-in-law, Franklin Hobson. Billy enjoyed hunting and refinishing furniture and he truly loved working in his garden. A graveside service will be 12:00 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023 at Prospect UMC Cemetery with Rev. Joe Fulk officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care shown Billy and his family. Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 243 N.
