Billy Glenn West

Clemmons -  Mr. Billy Glenn West, 74, of Haywood Street passed away peacefully Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his home.  He was born October 4, 1949 in Washington, D.C. to the late Charles Lee West and Texie Glenn West.  Mr. West worked for several years in the Maintenance Department of Silas Creek Manor, and was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Clemmons.  He was always willing to help others, enjoyed taking care of his special canine friends, Stella and Grumpy, and loved spending time with his family as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Jones West on February 4, 2024.  Surviving are his children, Gerri (Scott) Hicks, James (Lisa Knight) West, Mike (Barbara) West, and Jeff (Dee) West; grandchildren, Cassidy Hicks, Reece Hicks, Dillon West, Casey West, Elizabeth Spriggs, Mandy West; 5 greatgrandchildren; his brother, James Lee (Lisa) West; and several extended family and friends.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 6350 Styers Ferry Road, Clemmons, NC  27012.
