Bobby Gene Boggs

Mr. Bobby Gene Boggs, 67, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was born on December 1, 1957, in Yadkin County to Herbert Boggs and Lorina Ellen Jane Groce. Bobby enjoyed driving his cars. He was a car and gun enthusiast and was very laid back and go with the flow.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Boggs and a sister, Linda Boggs Smith. He is survived by his mother, Lorina Groce Boggs; sisters, Wanda (Bryan) Southard, Sylvia Boggs, Sharon (Doug) Phillips, Susan (Scott) Talley; brothers, Larry (Cindy) Boggs, Terry Boggs, Jeff Boggs; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Emily, Jonathan, Ashley, Shelby, Cassie, Megan, Dalton, Ryan, Justin, Dylan, Brayden, and Cameron; great nieces and nephews, Graylyn, Noah, Elizabeth, Sean, Waylon, Cora, Christopher, Allanah, Kayne, Arlyn, Cali, and Lauren.

A graveside service for Bobby will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Wyo Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville from 12:00 – 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley – SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin at 243 N Lee Ave, Yadkinville, NC 27055.

The family would like to specially thank Mountain Valley Hospice staff for their love and care over Bobby. They would also like to thank the staff at Ace’s Restaurant in Yadkinville.
