Bobby Jay Vestal

Mr. Bobby Jay Vestal, age 94, passed away on July 25, 2022. Bobby was born in Yadkin County on March 3, 1928 to the late Daniel Alexander and Daisy Eula Martin Vestal.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Billie Ingram Vestal; sisters, Jean Bauguess, Polly Brown; brothers, Bill, Calvin, and Sam Vestal. 

Bobby enjoyed gardening, watching Nascar and NFL football, especially the Carolina Panthers. He was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Beverly (Kevin) Cea, Teresa (Robin) Reavis; grandchildren, Adriene (Spencer) Middleton, Garrett Reavis (fiancée Jenny Badra).

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11 AM at Fall Creek Baptist Church with full military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346 Honor Guard and Army. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 AM at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC.  The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff of the Hospice of the Piedmont for all their devoted kindness in the care of Mr. Vestal.
