Brenda Ernestine Johnson Harris

Brenda Ernestine Johnson Harris, 77, passed away Friday July 25, 2025. She was born September 21, 1947 in Iredell County to the late Thomas Albert Johnson, Jr. and Mary Bessie Swaim Johnson. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, traveling, camping, and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Thomas Miles Harris; grandkids Amanda Thompson, Chelsea Davis; sisters Bonnie Long. Glenda Riddle. Surviving are her husband Thomas Franklin Harris; daughter Lynn Davis; grandchildren Bradley Davis, Nathan Harris; great grandchild Daisy Smith; brother Lawrence Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday July 28, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 29, 2025 at New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Bert Mathis and Rev. Monty Harris. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Road Dobson, NC 27017, Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Harris family.
