Britany Renee’ Evans passed away on October 28, 2026 at Novant Health. She was born July 11, 1985 to Susan Scott Wright and Gary Evans.

Surviving are her children Skylar Sizemore, Dakota Evans, and Bristol Reavis. Also surviving are her father, Garry Evans, her brother, Curtis Evans, her uncles, David (Jo) Evans and Jason (Beth) Scott and her special friend Corey Parrish.

She was preceded in death by her mother Susan Wright, grandparents, Betty and Wayne Evans, and Linda and Wade Scott.

Brittany graduated from Forbush High School in 2002. She earned a full scholarship to play softball at UNC-Pembroke. During her junior year of high school, she was featured in Sports Illustrated magazine.

A Celebration of Brittany’s Life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 at Shady Grove Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor Chris Benfield will officiate.
