Ray in 2021.  Surviving are his sons, Johnny Ray and David Ray; his very best lady friend and companion, Elizabeth Hiatt; grandchildren, Dylan Ray and Lindsay Ray; step-grandchildren, Jennifer (Seth) White, Erica (Travis) Ikner, Samantha (Micah) Gesford; step-great-grandchildren, Briley White, Willow White, Sydney Ikner; his sister, Sue Ray (David) Norman; nieces and nephews, Amber (Jerry) Koll, Amy Norman, Brian Ray, Michael (Sarah) Ray; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  His Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Maplewood Baptist Church by Rev. Eddie Honeycutt and Rev. Jimmy Lancaster.  Interment will follow in Yadkin Memorial Gardens with Masonic Graveside Rites by Yadkin Masonic Lodge # 162 A.F. & A.M.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Maplewood Baptist Church Building Fund, Parkinsons Foundation, or to a charity of the Donor’s choice.
