Carol Jane Hoots Gregory

Carol Jane Hoots Gregory, 80, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2022. She was born September 30, 1941 in Yadkin County to the late Pride Henry Hoots and Estelle Garrison. She was a member of Brannon Friends Church. She enjoyed the Yadkin Valley Cruiser events, watching her grandkids play sports, and spending time doing yard work. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Woodie LG Gregory; son Woodie Scott Gregory; brothers Allen Hoots and Tommy Hoots. Surviving are her children Brenda Kay Gregory, Gwyn Gregory (Renee Gregory); grandchildren Ashton Gregory (Brandon Phipps), Kyler Gregory (Katelyn Coffman); great grandchild Emersyn Gregory; sister Libby (Lawrence) Grubbs. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday April 30, 2022 at Branon Friends Church Cemetery by Rev, Gloria Simmons. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Gregory. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the SECU Hospice Home 243 N. Lee Avenue Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Gregory family.
