Catherine Evelyn Mullins

Ms. Catherine Evelyn Mullins, 78, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Autumn Care of Statesville, NC. She was born June 25, 1947 in McDowell County, West Virginia. Catherine grew up one of 8 children in a strong Christian family. She is preceded in death by her parents Preacher Ivan & Evelyn Mullins, brothers William “Ivan” & James, sisters Doris, Pam, Patsy, Juanita, and Linda. Catherine loved her family, reading her Bible, watching Dr. Charles Stanley, and going to church. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Her favorite time with family was playing Phase 10 and Yahtzee. She is survived by many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV with Brother Willis Hurley officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Iredell County Hospice & Palliative Care, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville, NC is serving the Mullins family.
