Mr. Charles Edward Montgomery, 72, of Tobaccoville, died Monday, May 16, 2022. He was born in Forsyth County to Henry Snead and Lennis Kearney Montgomery. Charles loved to go fishing and enjoyed his woodworking and was a member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Morgan Montgomery.

Surviving are his daughters, Leanne (David) Cecile and Michelle Montgomery; and a grandson, Dylan Montgomery Cecile.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM at the Elm Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Patrick Marion officiating. Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend is serving the Montgomery family.
