Yadkinville – Charles Franklin Renegar, 87, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  He was born September 16, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Rodney and Della Ledbetter Renegar.  He had a great love of the outdoors and especially loved having a beautiful garden.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Annie Inman; brother, James Renegar.  Surviving is his wife, Patty Nance Renegar; daughter, Susan (Charles) Soots; brothers-in-law, Larry Childress, Larry (Edna) Nance; nephews, Jeremey Childress, Wesley (Amy) Childress, Bill Nance, Kenneth Nance, Darrell Nance.  His memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 18, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev.
