Claudia Lorena Ferretiz Méndez se fue a estar con su Señor y Salvador el 24 de julio de 2025. Nació el 24 de enero de 1978, hija de José Ferretiz y María Isidra Ferretiz. Claudia tenía una gran devoción por su familia, especialmente por sus padres. Le encantaba asistir y apoyar a sus hijos y a su esposo en los partidos de fútbol y pasar tiempo con su familia siempre que fuera posible. Además, era una buena amiga de todos y los defendía y defendía sin importar qué.

Claudia fue precedida en la muerte por sus abuelos, Juan Méndez Gámez, María Del Carmen Rostro, Bernardo Ferretiz y María Del Carmen Ruiz; hermana, María Elena Ferretiz Méndez; tío, Jesús Ferretiz; su suegra, Luisa Jiménez; y su suegro, Domingo Nájera. Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Guadalupe Nájera Jiménez; padres, José Ferretiz y María Isidra Ferretiz; hijos, Michael Harris, María Isabel Nájera, José Nájera y Leonardo Nájera; nietos, Esperanza Leiva y Ximena Michelle Harris; hermanos, Bernardo Ferretiz y José Ferretiz; cuñada, Miriam Ferretiz; nuera, Wendy Harris; sobrinas, Miriam Ferretiz y Allyson Ferretiz; sobrino, Manuel Ferretiz.

Claudia Lorena Ferretiz Mendez went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 24, 2025. She was born on January 24, 1978, to Jose Ferretiz and Maria Isidra Ferretiz. Claudia had a great devotion to her family, especially her parents. She loved attending and supporting her children and husband at soccer games and spending time with her family whenever possible. Furthermore, she was a good friend to everyone and would stand up for them and defend them no matter what.

Claudia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Juan Mendez Gamez, Maria Del Carmen Rostro, Bernardo Ferretiz, and Maria Del Carmen Ruiz; sister, Maria Elena Ferretiz Mendez; uncle, Jesus Ferretiz; mother-in-law, Luisa Jimenez; and father-in-law, Domingo Najera. She is survived by her loving husband, Guadalupe Najera Jimenez; parents, Jose Ferretiz and Maria Isidra Ferretiz; children, Michael Harris, Maria Isabel Najera, Jose Najera, and Leonardo Najera; grandchildren, Esperanza Leiva and Ximena Michelle Harris; brothers, Bernardo Ferretiz and Jose Ferretiz; sister-in-law, Miriam Ferretiz; daughter-in-law, Wendy Harris; nieces, Miriam Ferretiz and Allyson Ferretiz; nephew, Manuel Ferretiz.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the community of Hamptonville, as well as all the soccer friends, close friends, and friends from Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. A visitation will be held at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville from 5:00 to 10:00 PM, Sunday, July 27. A funeral service will be held the following day at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Boonville, starting at 1:00 PM. A burial will take place following the service at Yadkin Memorial Gardens at 4:00 PM. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Najera Ferretiz family.
