Colleen Renegar Reece Hall

Mrs. Colleen Renegar Reece Hall, 79, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024.  Mrs. Hall was born November 14, 1944 to the late David Bruce Renegar and Daisy Ledbetter Renegar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred Renegar, Worth Renegar; sisters, Helen Flynn, Bet Cockerham, and Bonnie Waters. Mrs. Hall enjoyed gardening, cooking, and making Christmas candy. Colleen was very generous with her time and money, as she always had a heart for special needs children and adults. She is survived by her children, Tenna (Danny) Layell, Zeke (Diane) Reece, Melanie (Kenneth) St. John; grandchildren, Garrett Layell, Kori (Mike) Kelly, Alli (Trey) Money, Danielle Smith, Tess Smith, Danielle Layell, Jade Tate; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Tommy) Simmons, Shirley (Larry) Nelson; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to, Colleen’s special friend and care giver, Judy Stoker. Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice of Yadkin County, 243 N.
