Curtis Phillip Baity

Yadkinville – Curtis Phillip Baity, 84, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025. He was born May 20, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Sheridan Baity and Myrtle Plowman Baity. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Bryon Baity; grandson, Brett Baity; sister, Betty Pardue. He is survived by his wife, Alice “Gaye” Melton Baity; children, Dannah (Greg) Moore, Derek (Tonya) Baity, Chad (Brooke) Baity, Alicia (Randy) Ratledge, Brian (Dana) Lusk, Shelly (Gary) Holbrook; 23 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Denny) Rollins; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Bear Creek Baptist Church. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM on Friday at Bear Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Greg McEwen. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
