Mr. Dallas Gray Ball, age 74, passed away on July 6, 2022. Dallas was born in Forsyth County on May 15, 1948 to the late Dallas Worth and Grace Porter Ball.  He was also preceded in death by his sister Bonnie Ford Lopez; brother, Rev. Donald Ball; brother-in-law, Bill Freeman. 

Dallas enjoyed old cars, watching car racing, and loved watching sports of all kinds.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Sherry Fishburn Ball; son, Brian (Gail) Ball; grandchildren, Matthew Ball and Valerie Ball both of Bradford, NY; sisters, Dorothy Freeman, Judy (Eddie) Steedly; brother, Howard Ball; sister-in-laws, Nikki Angus and Janice Edwards both of KY; brother-in-law, Kevin Fishburn of KY.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11 AM at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Chris Alford officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville.  Burial will follow at Arlington First Baptist Church in Jonesville, NC.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 243 N Lee Ave., Yadkinville, NC 27055.
