Danny Albert Blankenship

Danny Albert Blankenship, 69, passed away Friday February 21, 2025. He was born January 17, 1956 in Greenbrier, WV to Bernie Albert Blankenship and Josephine Chapman Blankenship Price. Danny loved doing small engine repair, being outside, riding the tractor, and shooting squirrels. He was preceded in death by his father; step daughter Amy Whyte, granddaughter Samantha Wright; sisters Sheila Farrell; Dreama Blankenship. Surviving are his wife Sherry Ann Angle Blankenship; Children Troy (Margaret) Blankenship, Joyce Wright, step sons Daniel (Madaim) Pursley, Nathaniel Pursley; step daughter Angela Miller; grandchildren Jessica Lee (Jackson),Xandar Blankenship, Jasmine Blankenship, Amy Lynn (Cook), Patterson (Tony), Kaitlyn Lewis, Kirston Lewis (Matthew), Kryslyn Miller, Tristian Miller; step Grandchildren Zakeya Whyte (Trey), Zavien Whyte, Rylee Pursley, Amaia Pursley; great granddaughter Flora Jane Lee; sisters Bernadine Propps, Loretta Treadway; brothers Dale (Gwin) Blankenship, Darrell Blankenship, Gary (Dorthy) Blankenship, Charley Blankenship, Timmy Blankenship. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Monday February 24, 2025 at Fall Creek Baptist Church. His funeral will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM at the church by Rev. Don Hudson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at Liberty Hospice for the loving care given to Mr. Blankenship.
