David Bernard Gadberry

Mr. David Bernard Gadberry, 78, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026. He was born December 26, 1947 in Surry County to the late John Freeman Gadberry and Reber Pauline Dobson Gadberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tenna Dobson; his brother, Joe Gadberry; and a great-granddaughter, Emersyn Jade Gadberry. David was a very humble man, enjoying the simple things in life. He enjoyed being outdoors, sitting on the porch in the peace and quiet and he loved his coffee. He is survived by his daughters, Trudy Dianne Elder, Crystal Michelle Gadberry; grandchildren, Andrew Jerome Gadberry, Thomas Jordan Carlton, Marquis Allen Elder; great-grandchild, Romien Jyles Gadberry; sisters, Mary Gadberry, Deloris (Stephen) Lyton; and a host of friends and relatives. There will be a Celebration of Life, 1:00 PM, June 13, 2026 at 4213 Gadberry Rd., Boonville, NC. The family would like to thank the staff of Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and a special thank you to David’s activity coordinator for the loving care given to David.
