SPARTA -   Deborah Ann Citro was born October 29, 1955 to the late Freddy and Peggy Holsten.  She went home to be with Jesus on June 5, 2023 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  She was preceded in death by her father, Freddy Holsten.  She leaves behind her mother, Peggy Holsten of Mocksville; and siblings, Guy (Susie) Holsten of Lake Ana, Va., William (Debra) Holsten of Mechanicsville, Va., Peggy (Mark) Williard of Blairstown, NJ, and Lisa Holsten of Mocksville, NC.  Her three sons whom she loved with all her heart are Freddy (Melissa) Hornsby of Stokesdale, NC, Scotty (Jamie) Hornsby of Sparta, and David Hornsby of Sparta; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Citro was a member of Grace Community Church.  She will be remembered for her big heart and her love for God and her family.  A Celebration Service of her Life will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Grace Community Church of Sparta by Rev. Joel Stamper, Rev. Brian Poindexter, and Rev. Ronald Dean Ingle, Jr.  A reception for family and friends will follow the service on Saturday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Grace Community Church, 342 Macedonia Church Road, Sparta, NC 28675 or to the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC  27017.  Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.  Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Citro family.
