Deborah Winters Tucker

Mrs. Deborah Winters Tucker of Colfax, NC passed peacefully surrounded by her family on July 23, 2025. She was born on Jan. 30, 1958 to the late Dwight and Edith Vestal Winters of Boonville. Debbie, as called by her friends, was known for her hard work and spunk. She never met a stranger. She worked many years at Unifi, Inc and retired from Ralph Lauren Polo Company. She would tell you factory work was the only work she knew. She is survived by the love of her life of 30 years, Skip Tucker, of the house. Three daughters, Heida (Ted) Cook of Yadkinville, Amanda (Misael) Nava of West Jefferson, Marianne (Kenny) Brantley of Yadkinville. Her pride and joy was her seven grandchildren, Jordan, Baylee, Regan, Mady, Kenlee, AnnaLeigh, and Emma. A sister, Rickie Ann (Leon) Wishon of Boonville. Several nieces and nephews and special friend, Brenda Cassell and numerous friends. A viewing will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Gentry Family Chapel with the Pastor Rocky Smith and Pastor Lincoln Hobson officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Kernersville Full Gospel Mission, P.O. Box 876, Kernersville, NC 27285.
