Derl Dean Bruce

Derl Dean Bruce, 63, of Yadkinville, died Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born in Yadkin County on October 13, 1958 to Troy Aldean and Mabel “Peggy” Carter Bruce. He was a member of Baltimore United Methodist Church and loved collecting coins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Aldean Bruce, sister-in-law, Twila Handlin Bruce; and uncles, Ed Pullen, Lawrence Hutchens, and Harold Bruce. Surviving are a niece, Elainna (Yuri) Rickenbacker; great-nieces, Zoe Rickenbacker, and Twila “Sky” Rickenbacker; aunts, Dot Hutchens, Nell Pullen, and Shelby Bruce. His memorial service will be conducted Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 1:00PM at Gentry Funeral Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Chad Shoaf officiating.
