Dianna Lynn Benge

Mrs. Dianna Lynn Finney Benge, 70, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at her home.  Mrs. Benge was born November 2, 1951 in Surry County to the late Valk and Beulah Luffman Finney.  She was a member of City of Refuge Community Church.   

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Benge was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Benge; a granddaughter, Shirley Rose Benge; and a grandson, Brian Adam Moore.  She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Wayne Benge and Barry Dean (Christie) Benge; two grandsons, Jaxson and Chase Benge; one sister, Sandy Matthews; and several nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 PM, on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel with Dr. Jonathan Casstevens officiating.  The family will receive friends and family following the service. 

The family wishes to thank the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Benge.
