Yadkinville – Donald Gray Burcham, Sr., 79, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.  He was born October 17, 1943 in Yadkin County to the late Jackson Lewis Burcham and Caldonia Hunter Burcham.  Donald enjoyed the outdoors, farming, and his cattle.  He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hayley Burcham; brothers, Charles Burcham and Darrell Burcham.  Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Linda McKinley Burcham; sons, Donald Gray (Joyce) Burcham, Jr., Seth (Joanna) Burcham; grandchildren, Dallas (Megan) Burcham, Lance Burcham; sister, Becky (Grayson) Hampton; sisters-in-law, Annette Burcham, Pat Burcham; best friend and neighbor, Junior Bobbitt; and several nieces and nephews.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 243 N.
