Dorothy "Ma" Ann Glass Anderson

Mrs. Dorothy "Ma" Ann Glass Anderson, 79, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Wilkes County on June 23, 1947 to Harvey and Mittie Glass.

Dorothy is survived by a son, Ricky Anderson and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Croslee Anderson and Peyton Tuttle; and sisters, Mary Glass, Bessie Glass, and Annie Glass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Anderson and a brother, James Glass.

A visitation begins at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Mrs. Anderson's residence and will take place until 12:30 p.m. the following day. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Cranberry Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Blevins officiating. The family would like to say a special thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice and the ALS Clinic in Winston-Salem for the love and compassion given to Mrs. Anderson and her family.
