Dorothy Mae Renegar

Ms. Dorothy Mae Renegar, 80, passed away at her home on February 10, 2026. She was born on August 25, 1945 to the late Epsie Renegar. Dorothy had a special love for travel, especially her trips to Nashville, Tennessee and the beautiful mountain towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. She also loved Country and Gospel music.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, Epsie Renegar; her aunts, Martha Melton and Alice Dobbins; and an uncle, James Robert Renegar, Sr. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Donald Renegar; and several cousins and friends.

A Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel of Yadkinville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Friends Church Cemetery.
