Dorothy Lee Ruleman Toney

Dorothy Lee Ruleman Toney, 84, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2023. She was born September 28, 1938 to the late Leedoyle Ruleman and Virginia Ruleman.  Mrs. Toney loved her K-9 companion Brownie and she loved Owls.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clyde Wandley Toney, Sr.; two brothers Gordon Ruleman, Jim Lyons; sister Lois Woods. Surviving are her children C.W. (Sandra) Toney, Jr., Nina Burks, Harold Toney; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two brothers Ken Lyons, Lee Ruleman. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Saturday March 4, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday March 4, 2023 at the Gentry Family Chapel. Burial will follow in Hartwell Cemetery in West Virginia at 3:00 PM by Rev. Lawrence Hayes. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Toney family.
