Dorothy Faye Warren Vestal

Dorothy Faye Warren Vestal, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

She was born July 9, 1943 in Yadkin County to Thomas Ray and Lillian Hobson Warren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Ray Vestal and brother, Thomas F. Warren of Yadkinville, NC.

She is survived by daughters, Wanda Vestal Houlihan of Cocoa Beach, FL and Connie Vestal Dorton of Tampa, FL; son, William Ray Vestal of Yadkinville, NC; and grandchildren, Kristen Houlihan of Tampa, FL, Will Dorton, Lilly Dorton, and Zachary Dorton, all of Tampa, FL.

She was a graduate of Courtney High School and Draughon Business College. Dorothy enjoyed her retirement years living in North Carolina and Florida. Her joys were traveling with friends to many destinations and spending time with family. She attended both Courtney and Deep Creek Baptist Churches.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2022, beginning at 11:00am at Deep Creek Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm, officiated by the Reverend Chris Hauser. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Deep Creek Baptist Church, 2401 Old Stage Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
