Dwain Jones

Dwain Gray Jones, 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on the 27th of September, 2026. He was born to Bobby and Wanda Jones on April 2nd, 1960. Dwain had a love for the Lord and showed this by being an active member of the Reynolda Church Congregation. He loved spending time and playing with his granddaughter, “Amazing Mazie”. Dwain was also a member of the Tar-Heel Beaglers Club and loved running his dogs. When he wasn’t running dogs or with his granddaughter, he would spend his time outdoors hunting and fishing. Dwain was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Jones; son, Colton (Lauren) Jones; mother, Wanda Jones; granddaughter, Mazie Jones; siblings, Robin and Shannon Jones; nephew, Spencer Jones; and his niece, Brittany Jones. Dwain was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Grey Jones. In honor of Dwain’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at West Lawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to all people who cared for and supported Dwain and Kathy over the years. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend will be serving the Jones family.
