Eddie Ray Adams

Elkin Mr. Eddie Ray Adams, 63, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Adams was born to Roby Edward Adams and Treva Hutson Cothren. February 18, 1958 in Surry County. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and carp fishing. In addition to his father, Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his best friend, Mike Traphofner. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judith Monsees Adams; his mother, Treva Cothren; two daughters, Elizabeth (AJ) Howard and Amanda Adams; grandchildren, Hayleigh, Zachary, Laken, and Daisy; two sisters, Teresa (Jon) Turner and Tammy (Jamie) Snow; two brothers, Jeff Adams and Terry Adams; his best friends’ wife, Diane Traphofner; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Island Ford Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Kennedy officiating. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the ICU staff of Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mr. Adams. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville to assist the family with funeral expenses. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Adams family.
