Eddie Walter Steedly

Jonesville – Eddie Walter Steedly, 69, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born December 1, 1956 in Dorchester County, SC to the late Eddie Theodore Steedly and Mariam Smith Steedly

Eddie served honorably in the United States Air Force and graduated from Surry Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked most recently for Lydall Corporation as a Prototype Technician/Supervisor. He was a man of great faith and a huge South Carolina Gamecocks fan.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his sisters, Genie Williamson, Norma Jacqueline Steedly. He is survived by his wife, Judy Ball Steedly, his daughter Melissa (Reggie) Kyle, grandchildren, Raven Kyle, Rhett (Victoria) Kyle, sister, June (Wayne) Cope, brother, Chris Steedly and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Steedly family.
