Eden Nichole Kimmer

Winston Salem Ms. Eden Nichole Kimmer, 30, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at her home. Ms. Kimmer was born January 28, 1992 in Surry County to Charles Allen and Laura Martin Kimmer. She was a very artsy person, loving to draw, crochet, knit, paint and play the guitar. Eden loved her children and God, and loved helping others; always lifting people up when they needed it most. She had a smile that would light up a room, the biggest blue eyes, and red hair and was simply beautiful inside and out. Eden and her sister always knew it was them against the world, and she fought hard to be the best version of herself. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. In addition to her mother, Ms. Kimmer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald Martin and Bobby & Faye Kimmer; an aunt Christine Blackburn; cousins, Destiney Blackburn, Bobbi Blackburn, and Mikki Fay "Little Mikki" Blackburn; and an uncle Billy Kimmer. She is survived by her children, Sophia Carter and Chance Carter; her sister, Kristen Ryon (Eric Adams); her grandmother, Betty Martin; and an uncle, David (Tammi) Kimmer. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00PM, Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Pam Anthony officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to “A Bridge to Recovery” 2111 Stafford St. Ext. Monroe, NC 28110. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Kimmer family.
