Elizabeth Ann Eppler Murray

Elizabeth Ann Eppler Murray, age 82, passed away January 31, 2022 at her home. She was born September 10, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Richard Reyes and Josephine Perrachio Sydnor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Murray; daughter, Cindy Ann Vars; grandson, David Vars; great-grandson, Noah Anthony Murray; sister, Josephine Nagziarek; brother, Walter Eppler. She is survived by her children, Robert Anthony (Ollie May) Murray, Michael Anthony (Donna) Murray, Tammy Ann Dean, Mark Anthony (Lenitta) Murray, Scott Anthony Murray; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Ellenor Corr, and Francis Berry; her K9 companions, Bella, and Santana. Elizabeth also raised 23 foster children. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel. Burial will follow at a later date at Salisbury National Cemetery.
