Ellis Claude Hale

Ellis Claude Hale, 96, passed away on Friday July 22, 2022. He was born June 16, 1926 in Rockingham County to the late Claude Swanson Hale and Charlottta Boyd Hale. Mr. Hale served with the US Army 101^st Airborne division during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Patsy Rorrer Hale. Surviving are his son David (Johnsie) Hale, grandson Hunter Hale. Graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2022 ay Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville by Rev. Larry Grigsby. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Magnolia Assisted Living, Yadkin Nursing 100 and 600 Halls for the loving care given to Mr. Hale. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Church of Eden, 1406 E. Meadow Rd. Eden, NC 27288. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hale family.
