Eugene Booe

Eugene Booe, 79, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on August 14, 1941 in Davie County, NC; son of the late Fassette L. Booe and Esther Draughn Booe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Eugene Booe. Survivors include his loving wife, Peggy Williams Booe; his children, Kelly Booe, Kevin Booe, Kyle Booe and Kenny Booe (Meggin); daughter in law, Sharon Booe; grandchildren, Brandy Booe Miller (Nicholas), Brittany Booe Shugart (Jacob), Bryson Booe and Kenley Booe; great grandchildren, Bella Miller, Chloe Shugart and Callen Shugart; three sisters, Joann Hutchens, Mary Sue Ball and Shelby Hutchens. He was a member of Cornerstone Family Ministries. He had an enduring love for the outdoors/wildlife and was a passionate historian of Yadkin County who enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others. A celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Lenuel Lusk officiating. Mr. Booe can be viewed on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cornerstone Family Ministries cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s choice. The family would like to thank ICU #2 staff at Forsyth Medical Center for the care they provided.
