Eva Beatrice Reece Jones

Eva Beatrice Reece Jones, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was born August 31, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Henry Reece and Leathia Reece. Eva is best known for those delicious East Bend Drive In Cheeseburgers. There is a plaque at the East bend Town Park to honor Eva and Robert. Eva was a woman who has the kindest heart and loved everyone. She was a member of East Bend Friends for over 70 years. She was constantly serving her Lord. She taught many kids in Sunday School. She always helped with meals and served on every committee. Eva worked as custodian for several churches and Forbush High School. Her favorite Bible verse Psalms 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Lee Jones; granddaughter Amanda Elizabeth Priddy. Surviving are her daughter Debbie (Andy) Hennings; son Mark (Angie) Jones; great grandson Dylan Robert Priddy; sister Peggy Wiseman; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Saturday May 24, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday May 24, 2025 in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Randy Johnson. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Jones.
