Faye Green

Mrs. Faye Green, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was born in Forsyth County on November 9, 1943 to Carl and Ida Reece. Faye drove a flag car for wide loads all over the United States for many years. She greatly enjoyed traveling. Faye later worked at the Galaxy in Boonville for 17 years and was well loved by the community. Everyone who had the privilege to know her will greatly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Pinnix and Bill Green; children, Ricky Pinnix and Regina Wilkins; and sisters, Annie Mae Ford and Pat Baldwin. She is survived by a brother, Willie (Alma) Reece; sister, Linda Wood; son, Wyatt (Paula) Blakley; grandchildren, Stephanie (James) Taylor, Greg (Amanda) Blakley, Darrell Pinnix, and Latasha Wilkins; great-grandchildren, Lauren Taylor, Brooke Taylor, Sarah Blakley, and Ian Blakley; several first cousins, nieces and nephews; many special friends; and her Galaxy family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Dr. Charlie Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Green family.
