Frederick Steven "Steve" Pardue

Mr. Frederick Steven “Steve” Pardue, 58, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was born on January 14, 1965 to Max Frederick Pardue and Carolyn Cheek Pardue. Steve was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church where he served as part of the security team. He was employed at R.J. Reynolds where he had been working for 38 years. Steve loved the outdoors. He loved to “play in the dirt” and “dig holes” with his tractor and spending time with his grandson, Hunter. Hunting, fishing and shooting skeet were some of his favorite hobbies. Steve had an immense amount of love for his whole family and church family. 

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Kristy Turner Pardue; daughter, Haley Pardue; step-daughter, Lindsay (Troy) Evans, who he loved as his own; brother, Dan (Karen) Pardue; grandson, Hunter Evans; and a very special canine friend, Ellie Mae. 

A funeral service will be held at Fall Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 4:00PM. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00PM prior to the service. 

The family would like to sincerely thank the first responders of Yadkin County for their care for Steve. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Fall Creek Baptist Church at 3345 Fall Creek Church Rd, Jonesville, NC 28642. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Pardue family.
