Gene "Sonny" Gray Wiles

Gene “Sonny” Gray Wiles, 72, passed away Sunday March 13, 2022. He was born May 9, 1949 to the late Ray Wiles and Annie Geneva Ashley Wiles. Mr. Wiles served three tours in the Vietnam War with the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Bonnie Weatherman. Surviving are a daughter Wendy (Johnathon) Tucker;  grandchildren Amber Long, Kristen Long, Haley Lovings, Jesse Tucker, Elijah Tucker; great grandchildren Waylon Gallimore, Melanie Gallimore; brother Bennie Wiles. A memorial service will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday March 28, 2022 at the VA Cemetery in Salisbury by Rev. Stephen Evans with Full Military Honors by the North Carolina National Honor Guard and VFW Post 10346. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Wiles family.
