George Monroe Davis

Mr. George Monroe Davis, 74, passed away January 30, 2023. He was born August 21, 1948 in Yadkin County to the late James Arthur Davis and Mamie Flynn Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ten brothers, and sisters. He is survived by his children, Darren (Paula) Davis, Lisa Hornsby; grandchildren, Maggie Davis, Ellie Davis, Kayla Fletcher; great-grandchild, Leihani Willard; sister, Betty (Dillard) Simmons; brother, James (Jean) Davis; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Davis will lie-in-state, Friday, February 3, 2023 from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service of East Bend is serving the Davis family.
